Is the cost of an MBA worth the three letters?

I've owned my own business for a while now and even I feel drawn to an MBA. Mostly because the information and knowledge I would learn appeals to me. The issue for me is I have no desire to get another degree. Maybe I'm alone in this. I wonder though, have you asked yourself if you would go the next step in your education to get an MBA? I question the cost and time commitment in relation to what you get. Thankfully, there are more alternative options now than there ever were before.
